I Have a gt 710 2gb ddr3 version, 4gb ddr 2 800 ram, Q8200, But tencent gaming buddy runs like Cr@p and Shudders a lot, but some times it runs ok, 27-30 Fps. Due to it working ok sometimes i think the cpu's thermal throtling. I'm using the stock intel cooler from a g2030(Long story) but core temp shows cpu temps at 58 to 60 degrees c, Help

Solution

Alright, it looks like that cooler may not be able to handle the thermal load, the pentium g2030 is a 55w chip, that q8200 is a 95w chip. For standard use and idle testing that cooler should honestly be fine since the cpu isnt putting out its full ~95w of heat, but under load that 55w cooler probably cant handle it, and it throttles, can you find another cooler for the cpu? Honestly though, it is a very dated rig from the get go and you will have performance issues regardless, where did you get these parts if you dont mind...
Your system is severely underpowered for PUBG. The gt 710 is not a gaming card, it is no better than integrated graphics. The minimum RAM requirements for PUBG is 8gb and you are running 4gb. You are also rocking a 10 year old CPU that is well below the performance of the minimum CPU (i5-4430).

You are not going to be able to play this game with your system.

PUBG Mobile via Tencent? Should configure everythign for you, and you *should* be fine.

Have you tried using Bluestacks instead?

What resolution are you attempting to use? With a 710, I wouldn't look to do anything >720p

You meet the min requirements for Tencent:

DirectX: Version 9.0c
Storage: 1GB of free space

If your temps are only 58-60, then your CPU is fine.

I don't think the other two posters realize that you're using the Tencent PUBG Mobile emulator, which has much different system requirements. Based on the requirements for 720p, your PC should run the game at 720p fine. Are you trying to play on a higher quality settings than the 720p option?

Would you consider an upgrade, moving to a better core 2 quad or xeon if your board supports it, adding another 4 gigs of ram (if you have 4 ram slots), and replacing that card with something more powerful (1050, r9 270, gtx 750 ti, rx 550, rx 560, radeon 7850, 7870, literally just about anything mid range performance and up from 2012+ so long as your power supply supports it) should give you a massive boost in general performance for under $100. Also if you suspect throttling, could you get a better cooler or have you replaced the thermal paste?

I haven't replaced any thermal paste and can't upgrade my pc anytime soon, I just built it. i am using the stock thermal paste that came with the cooler and am running the game at the lowest possible settings
