Hello I’m upgrading my pc motherboard/gpu/cpu/ram and everything on it I was just wondering if I will keep any of my files if I transfer my ssd over and my hard drive I was just wondering if I will have to reinstall all my stuff (isnt a big deal) and was also wondering if I will still have my windows version.

Solution
You need to reinstall Windows for the new hardware, for the new drivers not to clash with old ones. Other than that, you can retain everything.
So basically, your Windows(C) disk/drive/partition gets formatted.
Have you even tried to search for answers on your question? Such questions appear here at least several times per day.

In summary - with change of motherboard OS reinstall is recommended.
It might work without reinstall, if certain conditions are met. But you'll get driver issues and windows activation issues.
So - it's better to just reinstall.
