Hi all

I have owned a gamecom 788 headset for a few years and have quite enjoyed it except for the bad quality surround sound and uncomfortableness it provides given that it is too big for my head and heavy as well as tight on my ears, since I wear glasses, it makes everything worse.

I am a fan of Overwatch and as y'all know, Razer, the infamous gaming kit company, released a D.va headset and of course, me being me, I went crazy and was pretty ready to sell my gamecom for the MEKA headset.

But then I read quite a few forum threads about it, and .... well.... I am not so sure anymore?

Was wondering if someone has owned both headsets and could give me a general or in depth analysis to me :)

Please.

Thank yuuu

I personally stay away from Razer peripherals after I've been bitten by the faulty hardware bug all those years ago. As the saying friends never let friends buy bad stuff. In this instance, I can't suggest you ditch anything and go for the Razer's even if the world was about to end.

How much are you looking to spend, where are you located and what sort of a connector type are you looking at? You can't expect surround sound if you're working with a stereo analog connection. Unless ofc you move to the Tiamat which is true surround.

What is the tiamat lol

Also, that is a shame since I quite liked the meka headset.
The gamecom 788 cost me 80 euros, and meka is around that price in pounds.
I do like the surround, but I mean, as long as I can hear sounds coming from all directions like any other non USB headset, like the ones advertised from other brands, I'm fine with that.
I have a mic and a headset port in my desktop.
I would , ideally like something better than the gamecom 788 and was wondering if the meka headset would be any good.
Most headsets were either too big and uncomfortable for me or too expensive. I'd prefer somethign that works pretty good, looks good and fits ok.

I mean, I didn't wanna spend too much money, but if there isnt any cheaper, any really good comfortable smaller headsets out there for the same price as meka or gamecom?
