Need help PSU choice.

Yes the Seasonic is more than fine for that, and will have all the cables you need.

That Kingston is fine for a budget drive as well.
The Seasonic has a great reputation. You can't go wrong with it.
The Corsair CX line, depends...
( builder series (old stuff now)... NO... reputation has that one going dead at end of warranty ) - The NEW CX line is much better than the old, and if on a budget is a solid buy.

I'd buy the one that fits your budget best, personally.

The S12II is over 8 years old now. But I agree that you don't see any users complaining that their S12II quit on them. I was shown up by a pretty knowledgeable user on here after I was defending in when compared to the new CX series, and that user showed things which I knew nothing about, and how the quality of the S12II is mediocre at best in things like voltage regulation and ripple suppression.

If you're talking about Rexper he has some sort of unholy bias against the S12II despite having minimal actual experience with PSUs. You weren't shown up, he just tricked you.

I will agree a newer platform is preferable, but the S12II is made with higher quality components and has proven itself durable and long term quality despite its numbers not matching some newer units. Some of the protections it may be missing, it doesn't actually need. There really is nothing at all wrong with it.

You learned how to not read and understand a review. 5v and 3.3v are barely used in current systems. Crossload test is an extreme situation that would never be faced in real life. The voltage is clean enough and it has all the protections it needs for a multi rail PSU.

This is the end of this discussion, I am not letting you take another thread down a rabbit hole again, period. If you try it will be over.

OP, the only cable you may need is an additional SATA cable. You list three drives, and most mainstream motherboards (such as yours) only come with two. They're cheap though. I'd get two extra, in case you ever add an optical drive or need to connect another drive such as a larger one you're cloning from one you have.

One thing i don't get it is why do you keep bringing up Antec HCG-520 review whenever there's talk about Seasonic S12II-520?

I've said it before to you and i'll say it again: while Antec HCG-520 unit is based on S12II platform it is NOT the exact 1:1 copy of S12II-520.

Is the reason why you bring HCG-520 review into the discussion because that specific review suits your agenda better than the actual review of S12II-520 unit by JonnyGuru?

Can't say I didn't warn you. Read Aeacus reply above and realize that when you are warned by the moderation team to stop derailing threads you need to listen. You will have some time to think about it now. If this is the hill you want to die on be my guest.
