I am planning to buy the CPU cooler tonight (well ASAP.) Any suggestions for the price that is better then that cooler AROUND (+ or - $10ish dollars?)

No objections, per se.

The ML240L is a pretty budget, underwhelming performer though - where I'd be surprised if you did much better than a ~$40 air cooler like a Cryorig H7

As for the rest of the build, solid enough.

Depending on what you want to achieve, you might want to consider a 6GB 1060 instead - a 580 and 1060 will trade blows, with the "winner" depending on the title/task/API.

The 500GB MX500 is about $125 up here - a solid deal for a 500GB drive, but the 480GB version of the Kingston SSD listed is $99.

Sure, the MX500 benches much faster, but in real-world usage, it's not going to "feel" any faster to most users.

Agreed about not feeling any faster. If the price for the mx500 were the same or only a few bucks more i would jump on the mx500... but yeah $26 difference is a quite a bit.

Well the SSD is for my little bro he's 11 so idk how much usage he's gonna get out of it and not gonna spend too much money on him as he is already getting my old system. I have a 250gb 860 evo that is doing me very well. I will mostly be playing games, doing editing here and there and some school work when the time comes. There is a refurbished corsair h100i v2. https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181123&ignorebbr=1. Not sure if it comes am4 ready and I haven't really looked into it that much. I want to go water cooling just because it is something different.

Yeah I only have my most often played games on my 500GB SSD and I still have over 70% free space. uninstalling / reinstalling games... no big deal for me. good luck

I helped my friend install a H7. Wasn't bad but I was planning on doing an all core 4.0GhZ overclock (not sure how realistic that is but the MSI Tomahawk and ASrock ab350 pro4 got really good reviews

I am getting a RX 580 8gb regardless unless I pick up more shifts and I am able to afford a 10/1170.

The ML240L is pretty underwhelming though

That's an H7 performing about the same, as the "full" version, not the Lite...

I would avoid refurbished AIOs. They have a (relatively) limited shelf life to begin with, and refurbished units will only come with a 30 day warranty, I would imagine.

I would say this is the cheapest one I would, recommend for a,1700x

If you are, changing the CPU cooler to,H7 that will cover the cost

Here is a solid B350 board but its with a $20 mail in rebate.
