I’ve had this problem for a few weeks, right after I got my new graphics card. Before Windows prompted me to login to my PC, the screen went black, but I could move my cursor. Browsing the internet, people said to reinstall my graphics driver. I went into safe mode, uninstalled and reinstalled, and it fixed the problem. That is, until the next morning, when it happened again. I updated / reinstalled my graphics driver about 5 times, with the same thing happening. Fixing it for a day, then having it reappear the next morning. Today, I had a great idea. If updating my driver fixes it, it must be the driver’s fault, right? Wrong. I uninstalled my new driver and put in my new one, with the same problem happening. I have no idea what is going on or how to fix it.
