'ello there mates!
I recently got a Zotac GTX 1080 Mini and I am experiencing some stuttering in some games (and some frame dropping). Here are my specs:

ASRock A88M-G/3.1 (AMD A88X)
AMD A10-5800K 4-core @ 3.8GHz
8GB (2x4GB) DDR3-1866MHz Dual Channel
ADATA SX900 256GB SSD

Now I understand my CPU can be bottlenecking my GPU but I didn't think it would cause it to stutter.. would upgrading my RAM to 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3-2133MHz help? ...or do I just need to upgrade to Ryzen...

Solution
Bottleneck means lower FPS, but the CPU also affects your minimum FPS.

By minimum I mean that time when your FPS drops to 40-30.
And if games use too much RAM, the system will switch to the page file, which is a lot slower.

But would the bottlenecking cause stuttering? I thought bottleneck was just lower FPS
