Building my first (VR-ready) PC.

I'm building my first desktop PC. I'll be using it for VR and other light gaming. I've already picked out the parts I believe will be suitable and compatible with one another but was wondering if there were any other additional things I should look into getting, or possibly considering as an alternative?

I'm not looking to have the beefiest setup, as long as it runs VR and has good quality and loading times for gaming that's suitable for me.

Completely new to PC-building and any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Video Card: Gigabyte -...
1. will work fine
2. MB is not good enough to overclock 8600k
3. ssd too small, game on SSD is beneficial too, faster loading
4. cooler can be cheaper like Cryorig H5
5. PSU can be smaller, 550 is more than enough.

Living in US? total budget?

Thank you very much for the response and advice! Much appreciated.

- I live in the UK. My budget is £1000-£1300. ($1250-$1650).
- Will look into a 550 PCU and Cryorig H5 cooler.
- For the motherboard, would a ASRock - Z370 Killer SLI/ac ATX LGA1151 Motherboard be a suitable alternative? I can afford something pricier.
- A 500MB SSD then? Or would you personally suggest I go even higher to 1TB?

I have a VIVE headset and will be using the computer to play VR games through it.
I'm not a competitive gamer and am not bothered if the quality isn't absolutely "100% the ultimate best" but do still wish for a PC to be reasonably efficient in playing games such as Overwatch, Monster Hunter etc.
