So I am trying to install a 1050ti in my sons PC. I took out a gtx 960 without uninstalling drivers. Installed 1050ti. My device manager shows the card is working. Then I install drivers and it shows a yellow symbol next to it in device manager, showing the card is not working properly. So I used DDU to uninstall all drivers. Device manager shows card is fine. Try to put new drivers in again and the same thing happens. Any thoughts on why it is not accepting drivers? Thank you. I try to open a game and the game just crashes. So on his device manager it shows the driver version as 24.21.13.9882, which I am thinking is the same as the 398.82 nvidia driver. Most recent. If I do a custom install and use the 23. …… instead of the 24 I think it works

The actual driver installer I linked. To install the Nvidia driver for the card, you'll need to download & run it.

Windows might pick up A driver for you, during it's auto-detect/update feature, but it's never the most up to date/appropriate.

You only have a country of origin? Seems strange.... Was this bought from eBay or something? Do you have a picture of the card?

When download drivers is has me restart PC. Then I check device manager and card has yellow caution next to it. Run DDU again and the yellow is gone.

Ill have to ask my son when he gets home. He bought it and has been trying to get it working. Yes windows installed some drivers and it is still ok. went to nvidia for most recent drivers then the card fails

YEah, the actual source/link to the product would be helpful. Not saying for sure it's the case, but fake cards exist & usually start having issues once a driver is installed
They're normally rebadged cards from years ago (550TI etc), with custom firmware to spoof a modern card. The driver installer detects it as ok to install, but when push comes to shove, the actual hardware doesn't align.

Fingers crossed that's not the case.

Also, as Robert Ban requested, please advise the full system specs.
