I have an AMD 8320e but the motherboard I have is not compatible with windows 10. I need a motherboard that is compatible with both windows 10 and this processor for under $200 if possible. No part pickers have operating system as a selectable option. : (

Thank you for your response, it is micro atx. How do I confirm the ASrock is windows 10 compatible? It doesn't say it anywhere on the amazon page but I am still looking.

My boss was wondering if I can find something with a 4 star rating. Thank you so much for your help! It looks like this solves my issue.

Any website that lets you search by windows 10 compatibility?

Not really, but newer chipset usually comes with win 10 support. I look at your cpu on pcpartpicker and checked different chipsets.

I searched by Support by AM3+ but I don't understand chipsets. Could you give a link to that list?

I personally know for a fact that board works just fine with Windows 10. I have built 4 or 5 PC's running Windows 10 with zero issues. (using that EXACT motherboard)

ASUS and microsoft have confirmed this board is not compatible. I can't update it, USB ports and serial ports aren't working or are intermittent. if you built windows 10 systems with these, you got lucky. Try to find that board on this list yourself and let me know if you find it : P. https://www.asus.com/microsite/mb/Windows_10/

I am not arguing that you built it, I am saying you can't update the drivers and it isn't compatible.

Vapour, you might want to actually look it up before you say otherwise.

Here is a site showing his board supports Windows 10 http://www.cpusolutions.com/store/pc/ASUS-Windows-10-Motherboard-support-Driver-list-Page-d35.htm

Here's a thread from 2016 in Tom's Hardware showing someone that installed Windows 10 and all they needed to do was install the chipset drivers. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3273039/m5a78l-usb3-windows.html

Here's another from Part Picker https://pcpartpicker.com/forums/topic/182033-m5a78l-m-windows-10-support

Here's another person on Microsofts website that manually installed the AMD drivers and everything was fine https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-hardware/m5a78l-m-usb3-with-windows-10-bsod-randomly/a44b3f9e-4321-47bc-971d-6b6b9504cff9
