hi guys, recently i discovered that my pc build is not so performing with these new games, so i decided to change some components, what i should change first?
Pc build:
I5-6400 (boosted to 3,2 Ghz)
GTX 1050
16 Gb ram
H110M-hds
my Psu gives 230 v and i usually play with a 1920x1080 resolution
I have see those PSUs, which usually come in a PC case of the same name.
You should upgrade your PSU first, before upgrading the GPU.
Then you could upgrade the GPU to a GTX 1060 ( 400W recommended PSU).
If you are planing upgrading the CPU in the near future then get GTX 1070/1070ti (500W recommended PSU).
Your graphics card is definitely the bottleneck in games, however before you arbitrarily upgrade it, make sure your PSU can handle the new card. What is the brand and model (not just wattage) of your PSU?
You provided the input voltage of your PSU. What is the brand and model, please? Our goal is to determine if it is of sufficient strength and quality to support your graphics card upgrade.
The 1050 is entry level for 1080p, meaning in demanding games it will struggle. So you'll need to turn settings down and live with lower framerate.
Since it sounds like that is no longer acceptable to you, then a videocard upgrade is the next step. Upgrade to a 1060 at the very least, the 6gb model if possible. You'll need to make sure your PSU has sufficient wattage AND the necessary pci-ex 6 or 8 pin connector.
