Hey everyone,
I have recently bought a (High end Gaming PC)

The specs are the following
i7 8700k @3.7GHZ
GTX 1080 8GB
16GB DDR4 RAM
120GB M.2
1TB Hard Drive

i dont have this issue in any other games , just minecraft... i can go from 800 fps to 40 and stay at 40 (with my camera teleporting around when i move my mouse) it stays like this for maybe 5-10 minutes sometimes even longer.

Solution
Yeah, quite possibly. Normally 16GB of RAM should be enough for gaming, but if you're hitting 100% utilization then chances are that either a) something in the background is using up RAM that's needed by Minecraft, or b) whatever mods & add-ons you're running in Minecraft have drastically eaten up your RAM.

1. Have you checked your temps & utilization to see if any spikes correspond with the lag drops?
2. Is there any pattern to the lag drops -- only on a particular map, only on a particular server, only at certain times of the day, etc.?
3. Have you reduced/eliminated background processes to make sure they're not interfering (i.e. streaming, playing YouTube music while playing, running anti-virus scans while gaming, etc.)?
4. Do you still have the lag drops after disabling all mods/add-ons for Minecraft?

The latter is extremely important, as Minecraft mods are notorious for a) eating up system resources even more so than the base game and b) not always playing well with each other (although that usually results in crashes rather than lag).
