Hello,
I'm currently looking for the cheapest available GPU capable of outputing 1440p @ 144Hz, just for desktop usage, so I was wondering if there was anything cheaper than the GT 1030.
My monitor is a Dell s2417dg and has a DP 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 (so no 144Hz)

Thanks for your time and anwsers.

You can't, but don't worry about it.

Consumption isn't really an issue for such low end cards, but if it's more expensive, the way is to get an used one, if you want. Like gtx 750

I do feel the difference, and that's the reason why I've created this thread. When i move windows or even simply the cursor, it gives me an awfull feeling. To be honest this is kind of a whim and that's the reason why I don't wanna pay more than around 50€.

What do you have as a GPU currently?
144hz @ 1440p for desktop and browsing shouldn't strain many cards, it's the 3D gaming and applications at those settings that will stress it, and by that only stress the frames per second.

I agree about the gtx 750, I have a gtx 750ti for $150.00 and it runs 4K easily.

On my gaming rig I've got a GTX 1080ti but as I won't play alot this year I was planning on using my integrated iHD Graphics 630, but the problem is my motherboard (Z270 Gaming pro Carbon) has only a HDMI 1.4 and a DVI-D Single link.
