Hi there. My sad is dead... but ad the same time not.
Bought this 120 go ssd from a friend that had the plastic behind the SATA data pins broken off. Could be easily fixed with this 2 in 1 extender I had? Worked for a month. My windows was kinda broken so I did a fresh reinstall of windows but not on my HDD but on the ssd. Now that’s where the trouble begun
It would eat see the ssd after the new windows. I thought or the windows installation wend wrong. It was my first time installing windows.
My friend came over with his win10 bootstick and tried it it worked 4/10 times when starting up sometimes not seeing the ssd then not reconizing windows a lot of trouble. Ect the ssd was filled with windows and some games 20gb of storage left. I put the rest of my pictures files and general junk on the hdds so I shutdown and go sleep. The next morning i startup it takes 5 minutes instead of the usual 20 seconds. It took a solid minute to load after entering my password. Does the rest like usual I launch battlefield 4. The lag is unbearable I couldn’t close the game. Cntrl+alt+delete took 2 minutes to open everything I pressed took very long to load. I googled a bit and looked around. I saw something about the hdd/ssd to full but I couldn’t delete anything i couldn’t open my browser. Couldn’t do anything so I forced a shutdown (power button) and boom ssd is dead
It sometimes sees it in the bios. It somehow broke the SATA data cable it was connected to. The port still worked took the hdd out of my moms pc put it in mine to make a bootstick so I could wipe the ssd when it decided to show up again it works 1/10 times and I have to switch and do a lot to get it working switching ports and stuff. Now I got windows on a 500 go hdd and one day that stupid ssd started working again. So I install my usual games again (4th time) and double check it really works again.... 2 days later it’s dead again now I’ve got it working for the second time this month. I’m clueless what it is (i have used 3 different SATA cables tried all ports got a new extender) what is this... if anyone knows how to fix it please tell me

Ps: sorry for my bad grammar
