Better for? The Q9500 is 3-4 years newer than the QX6700 and, while it's a better overclocker.... if you really must decide between the two of them, it'll depend on the task . In most cases, the Q9500 will be the better performer IMO

The q9500 will be a little bit faster but only barely,better to decide on the rest of the system.
