Hi everyone,
I need some help regarding 4Tb HDDs. So I have Toshiba x300 but it is extremely noisy when under the load, it literally making my whole case vibrate when operating. Thus, I want to change it to WD Black or to Seagate Barracuda Pro, but I cant find any noise and performance comparison benchmarks. Can someone please help me with this, I am trying to find noise benchmarks 6 months already.

I don't know very accurate benchmarks regarding noise problems, but generally i would say "WD Black", seagate drives are well-known to die quickly while most of WD drives can last much longer.

That benchmark maybe help, they are almost same performance, however i recommend WD more than seagate drives in general.

It depends also on your usage for that HDD, you want use it for gaming or storage? as you're asking for more space, i think you're looking for only storage, for that i recommend to check WD Blue 4TB as it should help for power saving as its 5400 RPM while black is 7200 RPM...

This is only a personal perspective, it can be right or wrong.

Good Luck.
