Is getting another 1TB 2.5" HDD for RAID 0 worth it?

My desktop is slowly dying after 7 years of hard work and an upgrade is due soon.

I plan to either put my current Toshiba 3.5" 2TB HDD into the new build, which I plan to use the BitFenix Prodigy M case for, this meaning I can’t have fans on the bottom of the case as this is the only 3.5” mount point.

So, my plan is to use my 2014 WD Blue 2.5" 1TB HDD (R:100MB/s / W:100:MB/s) from an old laptop that died, the HDD still runs well and works. I plan to just possibly grab a second 1TB 2.5” HDD and put them in RAID 0 and just mount them in the side of the case.

Nothing important will be stored on the HDD’s is purely to store me games library and maybe a few other files, I have a NAS so anything important is backed up. So, I’m not concerned about one of the drives failing and losing the storage from the RAID is its just game files, just as long as it is as functional as the 2TB Desktop HDD and as fast (Toshiba 3.5" = R:120MB/s / W:115:MB/s).

TLDR:
Is it worth grabbing a second drive to run the 1TB 2.5” HDD’s in RAID 0 to have 2TB of storage (the amount I ideally need for my library), I’m not asking for blazing fast speeds, just as long as it’s as fast as my current 2TB desktop HDD and saves space in my PC case. Also far out there, anyone able to estimate what speeds I may get and if the RAID be as fast at loading games as the Desktop HDD? (Most of my multiplayer games are on an SSD, so big games like Modded Skyrim are on HDD).
