My son is attending college and will be reimbursed up to $2400 for a computer. He needs the whole setup including a monitor. He does a lot of gaming but also needs to use cad software. I don’t think we can build it, they need a receipt for a pc, not a receipt for parts. I was looking at some custom of builders online but the possibilities seem endless. Any suggestions are appreciated.

A lot of tech you tubers seem to advertise Origin PC.

NZXT offers their BLD service. They allow you to choose a game and it will suggest 3 builds at 3 different prices. It will also show you an approximation on how much FPS you can get. You can, of course, change parts around.

There's also ibuypower, another custom PC vendor.
