I recently upgraded my pc from a ryzen 3 2200g to a ryzen 5 2600. with that came a new motherboard and powersupply. after rebuilding it and booting it up, i noticed my cpu temps were extremly high.

Keep in mind, i have a corsair 115i pro aio cooler on that cpu soo seeing temps ;ike that made me worry very much! the cpu itself doesnt seem to be dissing out those temps but i still want to see the Accurate temps im getting.

the motherboard is a asus strix b350 and it has been the most struggle in this upgrade.first, it wouldnt let me overclock the cpu and then it gives me an error that there is no cpu fan, even tho there is a dedicated aio pump connector on the motherboard. the manual for the pump says to put the pump connector to the cpu fan connector on the motherboard but since there was a dedicated connector for it i thought i would just put it there.

PLZ someone help me. If the temperatures are accurate than im frying my cpu as i type this article so PLZ PLZ someone let me know!

How high is it? 50c-60c-80c? Bios does give the most accurate readings, your temps in cold boot to bios be low around 30 idle in windows around 35-45. on load it can go even up to 80, but it would be nice if it was 60 on highest loads. if you got higher temps try refitting the cooler and the termal paste/grease/pads.dependshow old is the Cooler its possible the pump failed or something jammed the flow.

Problem solved. New ones found.

I was getting inaccurate readings from the corsair link software left on my pc. when i had my ryzen 3 2200g and msi b350 tomahawk, my readings were pretty accurate and stayed consistant. however, when i saw temps reaching 80's and 90's on idle I new something had to be up. I looked on forums where people had similar issues to mine and concluded that it was the corsair link software giving inaccurate temps. I downloaded a better temperature reading software (hwinfo64) and was happy to see my idle temps in the low to mid 30's.

the new question was why the aio pump software was giving extremely inaccurate temps. When I first booted up the pc after installing the new parts (mobo, cpu, and psu) the software was giving believable cpu temps. however, when i updated the bios, not only where my in-bios temps a bit higher than they should be, but thats when i remember being shocked at the readings i was getting from corsair link. I had tried overclocking my cpu in ryzen master prior to the bios update but the temperatures I was getting were too high for my liking (mid to high 70's)
so i deleted ryzen master after reseting the frequencies. I brought this up cuz i thought I was getting those temps from the unstable overclock preset I deleted from my pc, thinking i damaged the cpu somehow (I'm paranoid when it comes to my PC's health)

anyway, I would like to be able to use the corsair link software to monitor my pc but as it stands right now, the inaccurate temps I'm getting renders the software practically unusable.

on top of that, theres my bios temps. (little bit of backstory) when i had my ryzen 3 2200g, I overclocked it to its highest stable overclock and was getting very good temps using my corsair aio pump (40's idle, high 50's load). but when I booted into the bios after the update on the new mobo and cpu, I was getting temps as high as 42C IN THE BIOS! since then, I've been observing more reasonable temps (37C-39C) but not only is that still incredibly high temps for the bios but, when i boot into windows and run the hwinfo64 software, i get lower temps than in the bios! 36C just browsing the web! normal temps for a cpu with a liquid cooler in windows. NOT in the bios!

Is there a solution to this, ive already tried uninstalling and reinstalling corsair link but it was no good. and without it, i dont know of a way to control my aio pump.
