This issue persists whether on wireless connection or wired ethernet connection, and is reproducible on different machines connected to the same network.

Solution
I will post my fairly standard response when I see someone reporting strange issues that has a killer nic in there machine.

Go to the killer web site and download the drivers that have all the killer features removed. This version tends to have much less bugs. They recently got clobbered again by a big microsoft update, they fixed it but you still must download those drivers. You might as well get the ones without the killer features so you have less to worry about next time microsoft breaks something. The killer "game" accelerator has very little actual use it is mostly marketing.
