I consider myself half knowledgable in terms of computers but I want to get everybody’s opinion.
Basically I have recently upgraded my gpu from a Radeon to a shiny new EVGA GeForce 1070 which I am very happy with. I now want to upgrade either my RAM or processor, but am wondering which one to do first. My current rig specs are as follows,
EVGA GeForce 1070 gpu
AMD Bulldozer FX 8150 8 core cpu
8GB RAM
ASUS M5A78L-MLX V2 Mobo
I’m pretty happy with the performance I get on most newish games, for instance I run far cry 4, Shadow of War, AC Origins at 50-60 FPS but I haven’t upgraded my ram or cpu in around 5 years now so thought it was time for a change. I.e upgrading to 16GB RAM or upgrading the cpu toneither an i5 or i7, which breeds another questions as you can pick up an i5 for around £150 and the i7’s start at £250 or so. Obviously the i7 is suppirior but is it worth the extra money?
