Okey i just bought a new headset. It's a Hyper alpha cloud btw. It only happens in games when i hear something on the right but it's actually on the left. I don't think it's the headset fault cause it's not a cheap one and i had the same problem whit my old headset and i have tested my friends headset and the sound is reversed too. i don't know whats wrong. Can somebody help me

This may be because you are using it with a normal front panel headset socket, and that does not match the headset design. The headset contains a stereo earphone system plus a microphone. Look closely at the connector on the end of the cable. It has FOUR contacts - Tip, Ring1, Ring2 and Sleeve - one for a common Ground, and one each for the left ear, right ear, and microphone. However, the front sockets on your machine are set up for jacks with THREE contacts - Tip, Ring and Sleeve - and to use TWO such sockets. One is for the earphones, and another separate one is for the mic function. So the connector on your headset is making the wrong connections inside the hole on your front panel. To fix this, you need an adapter that converts the single jack on the end of your headset cable into two jacks that plug into the two holes in your front panel. Like this:

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882203159&cm_re=headset_adapter-_-82-203-159-_-Product

NOTE that this is NOT the same as a simple Y-splitter that converts one 3-contact jack into two of the same type.

yeah maybe but my headphones work good when i'm not playing any game and when i test it in the sound settings when the L lights up the sound comes out of the left cup correctly and when R it comes from the right cup as it should. Why my Headphones wouldn't work in game but when i'm not playing anything it's alright ??? My mic is pluged in the back panel headset socket but the Stereo is pluged in My Computer speakers maybe that's why it's not working correctly ingame. But i have alredy tried to put them in the front and the back panel and it woudn't work either so idk still. But the plugs go inside fine and all of the plug is inside or it doesn't mean anything and it can still be the Machine front jacket panels and back panels fault ???.
i hope you understud everything i meant cause i'm not a pc genius but i'm not comeplytly stupid XD

And one more thing but why my old headset had the same problem and it was like a cheap one but this is a expensive one plus my friends headset had the same problem too. I have the two jacks that can be pluged in the two holes in front panel alredy so i don't think that is the case this time :( i don't know really :(

As I said, look closely at the plug on the end of your headset's cord. The photo I found of that unit has a plug with FOUR contacts - a Tip, TWO rings, and a Sleeve closest to the insulated big part. If the unit you have is exactly like that - FOUR contacts with TWO rings, and not just three contacts with ONE ring - then you need that adapter to be able to use it with any common headphone jack system on a computer. The DIAMETER of the plug and the LENGTH of the plug is the same either way, so it WILL fit in, but it makes the wrong connections.
