I just bought a pair of Sennheiser game one's and I like them but they are not as loud as i would like them to be. I want to buy a sound card to help get better / louder audio. I have been seeing a lot of talk about amp/dac combos, whatever that means, but i would prefer a sound card. Mainly because i don't want anything taking up desk space. I would be willing to consider the combo if sound cards are just irrelevant nowadays.
