Hello, i recently bought a Dell Inspiron 7573 2 in 1, Special edition, comes installed from factory a Toshiba 256 GB SSD (KSG60ZMV256G) SATA III, M.2 2280, TLC-BICS
I want to upgrade it to 1 tb or at least 512 gb, since my laptop does not support 2.5 SDD, only m.2 2280, i read all manuals from dell and they only says m.2 type for update, they dont specify more my questions are:

There may be compatibility limitationsby BIOS, and if I have them, how can I know my storage limitations?

an SSD m.2 2280 SATA III 3D nand (Samsung / Crucial / Adata / WD) can be compatible with my laptop?

which model of SSD would be compatible/you recomend me for my laptop?

I'm sorry for my English, it's not my native language, thanks for your time and atention

Solution
You need sata m.2 for that. 500Gb should be around $135 depending on the model. Prices are starting to fall if you can wait as the QLC drives begin to enter the market.
