Some programs and libraries used this HDD to store files. Is there a way to find and fix missing paths faster, or do I just have to manually find and fix errors as they come along?
HDD failed, need advice on how to proceed.

If you have a functional operating system at this point, then the easiest method would likely be to simply reinstall any programs that had files or paths to the other drive.
