Hello all!

So I'm planning on upgrading my gaming rig to a Ryzen 5 1600 and planning on buying a ASUS Prime B350 Plus motherboard to go with it. I want to if my current RAM is compatible with the motherboard that I'm going to buy. So my current RAM are 2 sticks Kingston HyperX FURY 4 GB. If my current RAM is not compatible with the planned motherboard, please give me a suggestion on what RAM to buy.

P.S.
-I'm on budget, so please suggest RAM that's affordable. Thank you.

Good, gaming and affordable never goes in same sentence. What you might want to look for is from QVL or any with same frequency and Cl and stay away from fancy coolers on them. Something in 3000 - 3200MHz range.

Kingston HyperX FURY 4 GB could be DDR3 or DDR 4, which one do you have ? You need DDR4 for Ryzen.

Hi! thanks for replying. Yes, my RAM is DDR3. Are there any affordable DDR4 RAM that you can suggest that's good for gaming ?
