Trying to build my first computer but don't know if my parts are compatible

Case: NZXT S340 Midi Tower White

GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Armor OC

PSU: Thermaltake TR2 S 700W

Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX Black DDR4 3000MHz 2x8GB

CPU: 8th gen Intel Core i7-8700 processor

MOBO: Asus ROG Strix Z370-F

HDD: Seagate 2TB BarraCuda SATA

SSD: Samsung 960 EVO MZ-V6E500BW 500GB

I however do not see any at first glance without actually inputting that build for you. Everything there seems on the up and up.

The biggest thing is that the CPU has to match the socket type on the motherboard (Socket type 1151 for the i7-8700k) and that your RAM matches the motherboard type (DDR4 for the Z370) and you got everything correct in that aspect.

I swear i didn't even see that it said 8700 not the 8700K

He definitely either needs the 8700K or a cheaper motherboard.
