How do you install BIOS onto a M5A78L-M/USB3 Asus Motherboard without using a dvd drive.But your cd drive isnt working.

I have been trying to install the BIOS off of a CD that came with my newly made motherboard. The only downside is that my Computer Tower does not have an expansion bay for a Optical DVD/CD Drive. So I was wondering it is possible to install BIOS off a USB Drive? I am also not sure if I have the USB panel slots working. So, How do I get it to work?

you use a usb pen drive with os iso to install it made sure bios detect it as first bott device and this is you first system build .

how it is set up you have a os install on a drive then the only thing you wil need is to install lan chipset driver and motherboard chipset driver after you log on the board link and install all other needed driver and why you want to update bios now .

bios is on the motherboar already install it is the chipset driver and lan that is on the cd with other so you need os on usb install it on drive then get chipset and land and install them the same way after you will be able to connect to board maker for the others more updated driver .
