Hello, I've been facing an issue with my computer completely shutting/crashing without a warning and what ever I do, play games, watch YouTube, browse Internet etc. It happens so my both monitors turn off, I hear a gentle pop sound in my headphones, my motherboard has rgb leds on it cycling different colors and its stops at one color and fans turn off. Only way I can use my computer again is turning the PSU on/off switch to off and letting the leds to shut and I can then switch to back on and power on my PC and it starts normally. Happens once or twice a day.

PC specs are:
750w Seasonic gold
Ryzen 5 1600
16gb Corsair Vengeance 3000mhz
Gtx 760... yeah
Asus Rog b350-f mb
Samsung 860 500gb ssd and 1tb hdd

I have tested without any oc and everything factory settings no D.O.C.P. or anything like that, and it still occurs. Very frustrating especially when it happens right when game is starting like today.

in addition, remove vid card, clean and re-seat it.
also check ram by removing and re-seating it.
it could also be operating system files, so in safe-mode test by restarting in safe-mode with network support... then try testing by pinging a website in command prompt or accessing a web from a browser and try several basic apps too. see if solitaire card game crashes PC in safe mode. If everything checks out in safe-mode run "SFC" from command prompt and also run "chkdsk" from command prompt. if need be, re-install OS or run a Live CD OS from CD or USB drive.

I have removed gpu and ram, but the thing is that it doesn't happen that often, maybe 1 to 2 times a day, testing this in safe mode would be tedious and take a long time so I need better way to solve this. Also the PSU is couple weeks old, cannot say for sure but I think this started happening after I bought it but not sure about that, should I test another PSU maybe?

sry i mistook the part about "without warning" for it happens immediately when u play a game or watch a vid on youtube. mb

yes, test another PSU. They are very complicated and no matter wat caliber of quality control a manufacturer has, the odds are fairly high for a PSU being bad straight out of the box and brand new. (Seasonic is the best PSU manufacturer.)

Also, with a PSU only a couple weeks old, combined with weather (ambient temperatures varying a lot) and the connections (plugs) not being fully seated; especially the 24 pin to the mobo; are suspects.

No luck with cx450m psu, same crash/shut down. I also tried with only one ram stick, again no positive results. Could any of the vrms be failing and how about just bad ram, I don't have spare sticks around but should I buy one and test it with that?
