Will multliple Logitech wireless peripherals with unifying receivers cause conflicts?

We are planning to get Logitech wireless keyboards and mice for our lab. We want to get the K230 and the M235. Both these devices come with the unifying receiver. [1] [2]

The reason we are opting for separate keyboards and mice instead of combo devices is because the mouse often get damaged and we have to send in the entire package for repair. This is a little inconvenient and hence we are getting these separately.

Now, here are a few things I want to know.

  • ■ Can I use the unifying receiver from the mouse to pair both the mouse and keyboard?
    ■ If my mouse gets damaged, can I borrow by colleague's mouse and pair it with my receiver?
    ■ Can I use other Logitech mice, such as the M170 with the unifying receiver?
    ■ During set up, do we have to plug in both the mice and the keyboard receivers? Or can we just use any one receiver and set up both the devices?
    ■ Most importantly, will there be any conflicts if we have 5 workstations in the same room using the same keyboard and mouse?

The unifying pairing system seems to be quite simple and robust. We are using a total of 10 keyboard and mice with 5 receivers with no issues.

Some of the receivers would lag because of conflict with Wi-Fi router. After changing the router wireless channel multiple times, the issue was solved.
