I attempted to flash my bios in windows because I was having some FPS issues in gaming. The firmware I was using was beta so I wanted to go back down to a non beta one. Yes I checked my gpus, ssd, etc....
Anyway I went to flash the bios and I got an error message saying the flash failed and don’t restart the computer until I could reflash it. Then I tried to reflash again and everything froze. I left it sit there for a while but nothing happen. So I had to hard shut it down.
Now when I turn it on, it sounds like it’s starting but nothing shows on the screen, and I can hear the hard drives and fans almost like rebooting every so many seconds.
I tried asus flashback bios option but it’s not working, after 3 blinks it goes to a solid light and nothing happens. I’m lost at what to do.

FYI Don't ever use beta versions of a bios. Use flashback to install Version 3801.

I tried flashback but it’s not working. I downloaded the lower bios version. Renamed to X99A2.CAP, formatted to fat32 thumbdrive, put the file on there. Put it in the flashback port, pressed the bios flashback button; it blinks 3 times and the thumbdrive flashes on and off instantly and the light stays solid on bios flashback.

Have you tried a different flashdrive?
