Lock screen animation

I dont know if this is the right place to ask but i could find anything so here is my question:
My brother has a Samsung galaxy J7. When you turn the phone off (not shutdown just one button press) a cool animation plays instead of just fading black (2 black parts start from either side of the display and merge), I got a galaxy a5 and i realy want a way to get locking animation (mine just fades to black). Is there a way to do it without rooting the phone?
Side question: Is it safe/easy to root it?

Don't know if that is an option with your phone, but if it is you should be able to find it in settings --> screen.

About rooting your phone..

If it's safe or easy really depends on if you actually know what you are doing. You would also need to find a ROM that has the function build in.
So in other words, and since you are asking if it's safe or easy, that tells me you don't have the needed knowledge to do it safely. Not saying you cannot do it, but just know that in worst case you can end up with a bricked phone if you don't know what you are doing.

I have to agree with you, I have never looked into rooting a phone and my a5 is brand new so i dotn want to risk it.
