I have i5 6600 that used to be able to run ant game on the highest settings but now i can only use it for browsing the internet and do light work like photoshop
in addition i have gtx 1070 and 8 gb of ddr3 ram
i have this cpu for about 2 years now

Well, that’s palrobably it - dust-induced heat makes the cpu throttle.

Gently hold the fan still and spray the heatsink out thoroughly with power off.

Cpu cooler is spinning never cleaned it with compressed air
