Hey forum :)
I was wondering if anyone could help me with the following.
I have a Kingston 2x16gb ddr4 2133mhz kit and would like to upgrade. I was looking at the corsair dominator 2x8gb ddr4 3200mhz kit, but is it even necessary? should i just keep my 32gb, or upgrade to something faster and get a little bit of money out of it? :)

Solution
It would appear that your motherboard ram speed support tops out at 2133.

To go faster requires ram overclocking that is usually done in the bios with xmp settings.
Likely, those options are not available in your bios.

When it comes time for 8700K or I9-9xxx sell you old cpu/mobo/ram as a combo and buy new ram.

Something like 2 x 8gb DDR4 3600 speed will probably be the sweet spot.

Likely not a significant change.

What is the rest of your system?

Intel processors have a very good ram controller and are largely insensitive to ram speeds.
AMD is more tightly connected and my improve with faster ram, assuming it is compatible.
