When looking at 100% Magenta with a loupe, I can see black mixed in. Similarly for 100% Yellow, there is some Magenta mixed in. This is for documents printed from the computer.
When I print the printer diagnsotic page however, the Magenta and Yellow are 100% pure.
I suspect the issue is with how the computer communicates with the printer. Interestingly the Cyan is pure when printed from the computer, just not the yellow or magenta. This is the same regardless of Mac or Windows.
What could be the cause of this? The yellow is not so much an issue but the Magenta looks quite muddied.
