In the BIOS, both of my 4 gigabyte ram sticks are detected. However, when I boot into Windows and check task manager it says that only 3.9 gb are usable. I thought that this setting in the BIOS might have caused this (and I have tried different ram sticks). Here is a picture to show you what I mean: https://imgur.com/gallery/OmudCRL. Please help.

As far as dual channel goes, there is nothing you can configure in any settings to make this happen. Sticks either run in dual channel and are compatible, or they don't.

Are your memory modules the same model number?

Did they come together in a matched set (Kit) or separately?

Are they in the CORRECT two slots for dual channel to happen? You need to check the motherboard manual to find this out. For your board, they should be installed in slots A2 and B2.

You may need to give the memory a slight bump in voltage to get them working together and at the correct speed if they are higher than the 2133mhz I see them currently configured for in your bios screenshot. First though, make sure they are currently installed in slots A2 and B2...

What is the model number of your memory kit, if it was purchased as a kit, or the modules themselves if they did not come in a kit?
