Friend of mine bought a GTX 1050ti replacement for his old GT740 he asked me if his PSU can support it it was 600w that's the only thing he told me and I said yes bcuz I thought his supply had all of the connectors his gpu arrived I had to installed when everything was done we found out that his supply doesn't have a 6pin , and we re-installed his old gt740 and now we gotta either buy a new PSU with a 6pin or is it safe to use molex to 6pin ?

Solution
Usually I would say not to use power adapters, however this might be a case where it's ok. Just make sure it's a dual molex to 6 pin, and the 2 molex plugs are on different cables to each other.

The only reason I'm saying it's ok, is because the 1050ti doesn't require much from the 6 pin, and a 600w PSU regardless of make is more than enough.
