My system isnt recognizing my Gpu? (Asus 750 ti)

So I had an already build Dell pc with an asus 750 ti on it that I got as a gift, and when I plugged it on my other computer it gets stuck on bios at low resolution and after some times it shows a black screen with a white "_" blinking on the top left.

I have tried replacing ram and reseting bios (even removing bios battery)

What do I need to do, because as soon as I plug it in to the pc it came with it runs smoothly but as soon as I plug it on my main it like stops working, do I need to download drivers for it or some kind?

Please help, thank you. Motherboard: Gigabyte x79-UD5 and cpu: Intel core i73930k

Hey man thanks for reaching back so fast, just wanted to know if it is a gpu issue (I am building a new pc and will use the 750 ti on it so I just wanted to know if its a gpu issue or something to do with the motherboard) taking a look at that thread helped I have a new motherboard Asus z170 deluxe I believe, and its brand new, ill reach back to you as soon as iv tested it. Also about the bios, no, bios shows up on a lower resolution (having black pillars on the sides) and if I try to press f12 or anything, it wont respond.

I hope its a motherboard issue, after all its an old computer.

My cpu arrives around the 5th of september (delivery) its the only component I'm missing to complete the build so as soon as I'm done I will reach back to you and let you know if the gpu runs smootly again. if not, I suppose it's a gpu issue.

Hello, finished the pc all turned well only had windows activation issues (il call support nps) but GPU works fine, turned out it was a motherboard issue or smthin. Thanks for stopping by man :)

It's good that you have everything set up. Good luck with the windows too. Activating it can be frustrating sometimes.

Hey thanks again, yeah I tried resetting twice but it didn't do it, it was fine til I downloaded Mobo drivers after that it started freezing and reset doesn't help, gonna need to do a fresh install...
