So I bought a new mobo and theres this molex connector next to the pcie slots, my question is will that improve some overclocking on the gpu (1050Ti) because it crashes when i pump more than +200 on the core with MSI Afterburner. I always thought that the gpu doesnt have enough juice for that.

Maybe the MB's regulators are not capable or supplying the needed up to 75 watts thru the PCI-e connection...?

Again, a MB maker/model number, where we can then consult a manual, would indeed enable minor miracles via Google, manufacturer's online manuals, etc....

its a P45 MSI Platinum Zilent, with 2 PCIE x16 slots, the manual just says "This connector is for power for the pcie slots" but I dont need it to run my rig, my question is would it help with the oc, is the chip limites to like 1800mhz or it doesnt have enough juice?
