I have a Thinkpad T410, which supports upto 8GB RAM. I have used both slots with 4GB+4GB. OS and BIOS show 7.9GB available. But, whenever I use task manager to check performance levels, the RAM usage does not cross the 50% mark(ie 3.9GB). Why is that?
