hey guys!
So I want to the the corsair H100x 240mm and I overclocked my CPU to 5.1Ghz
so I made some exaples for airflow and I want you to say me what's the best Airflow for overclocking
btw I have O.C'ed GPU (so it's have higher temp then a normal one)
so take it in mind....
first example:

***I cant decide where to put the H100x (plz help say where I should put it on the front on on th top of the case...)***

second example:

forth example:

Solution
Second example - obviously.

Keep in mind - warm air rises up.
So correct config is this:

so where do I need to put the H100x 240mm on the front of on the top?

simple, radiator goes to the top - with air being exhausted - why would you want to blow warm air into the case?

and you want more fans blowing air into the case than air being exhausted, keep in mind you'll have a GPU exhausting air as well
if radiator has 2 fans, and one fan at the rear, you really need a case with capacity with more fans

Fractal Design R6 or S2

Got it, bit let me share my setup then:

Top: radiator, 2 x 140mm fans exhausting air
Rear: 140mm fan exhausting air
Front: 2 x 140mm fans intake
Botton: 140mm fan intake

This is a Fractal R6 without the extende bays setup, so its pretty clear inside the case.

The reason I did the rear as exhaust is because right bellow it its the PSU, and it also exhausts air.

that's the very case i;m going to order in Jan or Feb - looking for a sale price
but you're still going to have a GPU exhausting air - i;m thinking to open the PSU shroud (ie, cutting that perforated grating open to allow easier airflow into the case

I;m also thinking about possibly boring a hole in the left side case cover to mount another fan or two blowing straight at the motherboard's VRM and cooler

the coolermaster HAF 932 http://www.coolermaster.com/case/full-tower/haf-932/
Not the prettiest case but it sure does get the job done, plus i need all those 3.5" bay slots

What I did instead was purchase (during black friday) a 1600W Gold PSU for my system that will only consule 455W at maximum. This way not even 50% of the PSU is used, that means less heat is generated. My current PSU the fan runs at minimum speeds.
Plus its future proof if I ever want to add a SLI configuration or any other devices that consumes energy.
I know it might see like a waste of money, but I got an EVGA G2 1600W for 160$ only! That was a great deal
