Few days ago I just buy a new graphics card. It's the gtx 1060 6gb... I see a lot of videos on ytb about this card performance and it's a beast.. but when I play gta 5 I only get about 30 fps

cpu: amd a10 7870k
vga:gtx 1060 6gb Ampi edition
Ram: 8gb (1 stick)

Sorry for my bad English
Please help

You don't need to uninstall any drivers if you didn't have another gpu before. Do NOT uninstall the apu drivers.

The cpu is right smack in the middle between the minimum requirement and the recommended, so I think you should be higher than 30fps. Does the fps change much when you lower the settings? Ultra is definitely too much for that processor, and it will probably struggle on high.

You can monitor the temperature with AMD Overdrive. Make sure you monitor the temps while actively gaming so you know how hot it actually gets under load. Also, read this link before you start monitoring because AMD does their temp reading a little different. http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2122665/understanding-temperature-amd-cpus-apus.html

Make sure your monitor is plugged into the graphics card and not the motherboard, and then make sure you have the pci-e set to primary in the bios. Also, make sure you remove any drivers from your old gpu if you had one.

Yeah, I think those apu's pull about 2gb of ram to use as vram, so at least you know that the apu is disabling. What settings are you playing gta v on? And have you checked temps while gaming?

I do know that gta v is shockingly cpu heavy, and your cpu could be struggling with only 4 cores.
