Hello to all.
I have a problem with my NVIDIA GEFORCE 1050 graphics card.
I bought my pc from another person but I never realized that the second video card I have (NVIDIA GEFORCE 1050) is not used by my pc.
it is as if it does not detect the graphics card and for the games and all my pc always uses the AMD RADEON (TM) R7 GRAPHICS.
Also I've seen that the fans underneath NVDIA GEFORCE do not run, so as if NVIDIA was not active.
I also do not understand why my PC detects the graphics card but I can not use it even if it says it is active.
Please help! How can I make the graphics card work?
regards.

Thanks for the answers!
I do not understand why I should uninstall AMD drivers.
I do not know if it is understood but my PC detects the video card GEFORCE and only that I can not use it for some strange reason.
Also in the CPU-Z program is detected GEFORCE but unlike the AMD fails to understand the characteristics of the graphics card.

Yes they can conflict. AMD cards and Nvidia cards do the same job, but they do it differently. You do not want the drivers for one type of card installed if you are going to use another type of card. Make sure the 1050 is connected to the monitor.

AMD also provides chipset drivers for their motherboards. Do not uninstall these by accident if you have an AMD motherboard. You can download and reinstall them if that happens, but it's best to just leave them alone now since the computer is working.

I tried to update the GEFORCE card drivers but it did not work.
However I know that AMD drivers are not good for running GEFORCE.
So are we sure that by uninstalling the AMD drivers the GEFORCE starts to work?

"I bought my pc from another person but I never realized that the second video card I have (NVIDIA GEFORCE 1050) is not used by my pc"

Are you plugged into the 1050?. Just do what they all said and it should work.

I would totally remove the and card and driver if I wasnt using it. Install the 1050 and driver.

the best thing to do at this point is to remove the drivers with the program i linked to in my first post. after restarting the PC after the program has removed all traces of both display drivers reinstall the geforce drivers again with the 1050 installed.

if you are still unable to get the GPU working then it would be best to do a clean install of windows. if you have windows 10 you will not have to worry about a key to reactivate but if it is windows 7 or 8 then you may need to download a keyfinfder program to get the windows key.
