I was planning to wait for next gen nvidia gpu. After confirmed specification of RTX family, 2070 version comes with TDP of almost 185W. I have a 550W 80+ bronze category psu. Now im in confusion whether to upgrade the psu to 650W or not! Here's my spec:
1. i5 8600k 4.7GHz
2. Gskill Trident Z 8GBx2 3200MHz
3. Gskill Ripjaws S3 120GB NVME SSD
4. Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200rpm
5. 5x 120mm fans
please help me with practical answer. is it okay if i run 2070 with some overclocks on a 550W psu? or is it safer if i get a 650W psu?

Solution
ATX12V / EPS12V
80 PLUS BRONZE Certified
100 - 240 V 47 - 63 Hz
+3.3V@18A, +5V@16A, +12V@42A, -12V@0.3A, +5VSB@2.5A

Roughly 42*12 ~ 500 W on 12V rail
decent quality but not very good, I will say still fine for 2070 but I will go easy on overclocking and try to upgrade psu soon.

A 650w or even 700w would be the safer option if you plan on OC'ing, remember that the numbers touted at the moment have not been verified by any independent testers.
