SSD being used when files are on my HDD

I have set my download location to my HDD and my HDD has files inside of it and all of my downloads do enter it however my SSD which is fairly small in size is being filled instead even though my data isn't on it.

Solution
24GB of PAK file. A game?
6.2GB of .sys files. That is the pagefile and hibernation...the green ones at the bottom.
23.7GB $Windows.~BT - old Windows install files

That's 50% of the drive right there.

Unless you've specifically turned it OFF, not recommended, you are using some virtual memory (pagefile).

What size/make/model is this drive?
Many things can cause an apparent usage.

Pagefile, temp files, etc, etc.

My PC is more or less brand new and I have only installed 1 game which is around 20 gb and my SSD is 128 gb and hdd is 2 tb. I mainly wanted my hdd to contain downloads (which i set in chrome as default) and other personal files whereas my ssd would be for booting the bios and playing games on. I havn't messed with the pagefile etc but I will check if that is a problem.

Leave the pagefile alone.
At most, turn it DOWN to a smaller size than the default.

Other things...
Restore points.
hibernation.

What is telling you space on the SSD is being used?

I am viewing the SSD usage on the "This PC" folder. It shows my HDD on 2TB and my SSD on 20 gb usable.
