can you please give me recommendation on PC parts list

most usage of this PC will be gaming , some 3D modeling and surfing the web.

Solution
You can either wait a month, or pick the 1080Ti, which has seen prices drop rapidly and is still a very powerful card that will serve you well. However, the newer cards will be more powerful.

$3k, and 1080p? You have the budget for 1440p Gysnc. Not a great time to build either, with the new Nvidia cards, that were just announced yesterday.

if you think my system could run a 4k i will not complain XD

as my main focus will be gaming i understand Intel is the better choice for me (correct me if im wrong)
so what Intel system can you recommend me?

and what are your thoughts on SLI?
specifically double gtx 1070 in SLI

Thank you for your help

1440p and higher, the differences between Intel and AMD are minor, in gaming. 4k is still stupidly priced, especially when you involve G-sync. 1440p is a nice middle ground, imo. The 2700x is a more capable CPU, outside of gaming. SLI is slowly dying off. I wouldn't buy a current gen card, now, unless you have to.
