Hello!

I recently just reset my PC and for some reason my mouse is maxed out at 500hz. Normally you can hold down a specific button while plugging it in (125, 500, 1000) and 125 and 500hz are working but the 1000hz one is not. I also tried using the hidusbf program to change it to 1000hz but it is still sticking at 500.

Is this a faulty mouse? Can there be specific drivers I need? Could there be a problem with my USB ports (I tried 2.0 and 3.0)?

Thank you.

Edit: I have a 6600k cpu, 1070 gpu and an asus z170-e mobo if it matters.

To what extent did you "reset" your PC?

Do you mean you reinstalled Windows? The reset may have undone something....

Overall, the drivers would be my first thought.

Start by downloading and reinstalling the mouse drivers via the manufacturer's website. Be sure to download the driver applicable to your PC's OS.

Also download the installation instructions. There may be some additional step or configuration requirement that was overlooked.
