Hello, this is my computer configuration:
AMD Ryzen 5 2400G 3.6GHz with Vega 11 iGPU
1x8GB DDR4 2400MHz
Asus A320M-K Motherboard
Now I got to ask you guys, can I add different 1x8GB DDR4 2400MHz stick to my PC? I know there will be answers like "it may fail" or "sell this stick and save money then buy 2x8 3200MHz kit". I don't think I can sell this stick in a short period of time because in my country the cheapest 1x8GB DDR4 2400MHz stick is 85 Euros (100$) so if I put the price like that on sale, if I sell it I got to add about 115 Euros (130$) to buy 2x8 3200MHz kit. So, I think it's better to buy another 8GB 2400MHz stick which costs 100$ like my stick rather than selling this and adding 130$ later to buy 3200MHz kit. What do you think about this guys? I will appreciate all answers.

Solution
^ because it may fail to post with mismatched ram, you may have to do a lot of manual tinkering, with timings, or it may just work fine straight off the bat.

It certainly 100% cannot damage anything, though , temporarily or permanently - that's just rubbish.

Yes, as long as they the same speeds, although different speed should just clock the faster one down to match the slowest speed, depending on motherboard.

Thanks for the answers guys, but why do people on internet always says it may fail or it may damage my motherboard?
