So, my question is that should I get 32GB or 16GB for Multi-tasking and Streaming on the i7-8700K? I'm gonna be having a Dual-Monitor Setup for gaming and will be streaming on a single PC. I know that streaming does't require a big amount of RAM since it's all dependent on the CPU. But Multi-Tasking like checking twitch, google chrome. I know the 32GB RAM is an overkill for these kind of stuff but what about rendering a video Premiere Pro and playing games? Is 16GB enough for that?

Solution
Personally, I'm now at 16GB and happy with it, so far.
If I was to build a new compuiter, I would opt for 32GB though for simple reason that assuming graphics heavy stuff, and so on, 8GB or 11GB or so GPU, said GPU kind of needs equal amount of RAM, not quite since most textures and stuff can be loaded to Vram but game needs some too and OS and whatnot else. Meaning that in next 2 to 3 years, you might run out if you chose to go 16GB.

The big question is.. how long time do you think you will go without upgrade? 2 to 3 years? 16GB could work, longer? go for 32
