I've had my pc for about 2 years now and I'm just noticing that my core i7 7700k is running really hot(60 to 70c when at 1 to 3% load and 100c when it gets over 25% usage ). I have a corsair h100i v2 so I Should not be having this problem I've tried everything that I can think of, but nothing worked.

Things I have tried;
changing the Voltage from auto to 1.100V
reinstalling thermal paste Twice
moving the H100I to a different fan header on the motherboard(ASUS ROG Maximus IX Hero LGA1151)
cleaning my computer of dust and grime
even downclocking to 4GHz

so I'm stumped if you have any suggestions feel free to help me plz

Other Pc Specs;

Solution
many AIO pumps get overrun with crud/contaminants/hard water deposits after a year or two's time, or, the pumps fail...; you might try dismounting it, and see if the pump's body can be disassembled, cleaned out....

I have a Coolmaster 360mm AIO, and I had to resort to deliding and liquid metal to get my i7-7700k temps under control. I was getting 197F at 100% at 4.9GHz. Stupid. After deliding now I get 167F. My experience with the i7-7700k, as been unimpressive.

I kinda hope you have a bad setting for the pump through your fan header, but I don't think you do.
